Christopher Mubanga- A godly church-planting pastor/evangelist, has been humbly ministering throughout his country from the highest places in the government to the lowest and poorest people in the land. He is actively training and raising up young leaders to build the body of Christ and reach the lost.

Bonnie Ndelemeti (formerly Dolan)- As a 'Mother Teresa' type radical, this woman from the USA, completed seminary and then launched one of the greatest missionary outreaches ever….in the heart of Africa.  In one of the hardest, poorest, and most neglected areas of ZAMBIA, this visionary has mobilized a  training and sending center for Africa known as CMC. With the highest of academic standards she has developed and built one of the best Seminaries and Christian centers in all of Africa.

FEBRUARY 2008 CCM MISSION UPDATE DEAR FRIENDS:

GREETINGS! It’s always a joy to share what God is doing in Zambia, Africa at CCM. Share our praises, challenges, and new happenings.

BIBLE COLLEGE GRADUATION: On December 8, 2007 CCM Bible College graduated its first eleven theological students since moving to the new campus in Kitwe. Six students graduated with a Degree, 4 with a Diploma, and 1 with a Certificate. Chishiba Mukwamba received the “Best All Around Student Award” and Wilson Chabu the “Highest Academic Achievement Award”. Our graduates are either currently serving or planning to serve as: pastors, Bible College lecturers, military chaplains, Christian businessmen, and in children’s ministry. We wish to THANK each of you that have sponsored teaching faculty and students, making the spiritual calling and preparation for ministry possible for each of these students.

APRIL TRIP TO THE U.S. We are planning an April trip to the U.S. to visit with many of you and share what God is doing in Zambia. If you would like for us to visit you or your church please let us know. Getting legal documents in place after our marriage is a slow process here. Pray that Bennett’s paperwork will be processed in time so that we can come as a couple versus Bonnie coming by herself.

EXTENSION STUDIES LAUNCHED AT CCM BIBLE COLLEGE CCM Bible College is currently equipping just under 200 students through Distance Learning and Day Studies. To equip more leaders we have just launched an Extension Studies program. Extension students largely study from home, returning to the College Campus for one week at the end of each term for mini-lectures, discussions, oral reports, and examinations. The program was launched as a result of some Distance students saying they wanted more exposure to College lecturers, the Library, and other students. Several more have shown an interest. Distance and Extension study options is a growing trend here in Zambia, as many want to study largely from home, but have some contact with the College. We opened our Extension Program with 4 students: a retired teacher, a veteran church planter, a deacon, and a new Christian. Pray for these students and the several others who are thinking about enrolling.

CCM TRUST SCHOOL Re-opening after term break, CCM Trust School is again filled with the chatter of delightful, playful children. They are busy learning their ABC’s, numbers, colors, shapes, Bible & catechism and more. We have added the First Grade this year as we continue our pursuit of offering nursery to seventh grade classes. We currently have Baby Class, Pre-School, Kindergarden, and Grade 1 classrooms. Our enrollment is still climbing and currently stands at 79 students. After doubling our school fees this year to better enable CCM to become financially self-supporting, we wondered if our enrollment would drop by 50%. While some left, others came. We currently have four less students than last term. Pray for 100 students! (Left: “’The Nativity – the children re-enacting the Christmas story.) WEDDING MEMORIES! Bennett and I married on December 15th. The day was marked with great joy. Family, friends, and workmates joined us for our special day. We went to Zimbabwe and Botswana for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time! Married life is good. It brings many changes, but many new new experiences, joys, and opportunities for service. (See attachment for additional wedding pictures.)

BUILDING PROJECT! Our second campus building is the future home of CCM Trust School. The building is currently completed to window level. We are currently working on the lentils and are praying that we will be able to roof the building no later than August of 2008. We need to get into Phase 1 of the building by 2009 if we are going to be able to add second grade to the Trust School. The building will be erected in three phases. Phase 1 has four large classrooms, three offices, a staff room, a resource room, a kitchen, and staff toilets. We need around $75,000. to complete the walls, roofing, and internal finishing’s for Phase 1. PRAY for God to provide this critical need. Once the three phases of the Trust School building are completed, the first campus building will be exclusively for CCM Bible College and our upcoming Seminary, CCM Theological Seminary. Here is a break down of our immediate needs: 2000 concrete blocks (Cost: $2. each) 4000 Bricks (Cost: $1. each) 30 Window Frames (Cost: $35. each) 13 Door Frames ($55. each) The estimated remaining costing to complete Phase 1 of the building is $75,000. Please pray for the following: For 4 churches/individuals to adopt 1 of the 4 classrooms and bring it to completion: Cost: $10,000. per classroom. For all the window and door frames to be provided. For churches/individuals to launch a block or brick project, encouraging those around them to give $2. for a block and $1. for a brick.
