India is one of the most populated countries in the world, numbering over 1.2 billion people. Out of all these people, only 5.8% are Christians. 74% are Hindu and 14% are Muslim. Besides the caste-system discrimination still persisting, religious freedom has recently come under threat. Poverty touches hundreds of millions of people in India. Extremist Hindus are dangerous in India; they have gained strong political power and have begun promoting revisionist history. Their motto is "India is Hindu only." Christianity is, however, growing though it is unequally spread.

Enoch and Nancy A.
Dr. Enoch, elder "statesman," has national influence and respect in India as the former director of Gospel Recordings and on the Board of Directors for "Back to the Bible" broadcasts. He is now on the board of the Bible Society of India. With a wonderful family team (wife, daughter Nancy, and son-in-law) they have recently developed a new orphanage and ministry base to reach out to unreached villages of central India. H.I.M. has been involved this year with helping to provide meals, clothing, teaching materials, Bibles and worship instruments to this girls’ ministry. Funds were also given to build a security gate around the orphanage property. We connect college students as "interns" with this ministry for the past three years.

He has hosted HIM staff and often ministers in village areas where there are no believers. Pastor Reji has ministry outreaches in Delhi and helps Prasad in his other India outreaches and programs throughout India.
Richard and Iris J.
Richard and his family (wife Iris) has been partnering with Fred Kornis (HIM) in pioneer church planting in unreached villages of North India for 20 years. His widowed mother, Malti, was also one of our "PALS" leading and developing discipleship programs for women until she recently went to be with the Lord unexpectantly. In a very primitive village area over 30 leaders have been trained, prepared, and mobilized to reach a native area of 300 villages speaking a unique native dialect. Rev. Richard maintains and preaches in his local church. He is also involved in many outreach projects to rural villages and unrerached people groups. These often include distribution of food, clothing, shoes and books. He travels to these various regions, preaching and teaching and translating into the local tribal languages. His wife now helps to head up the women’s training.
Samuel
Samuel is a godly man with a great vision and call to develop disciples, churches and schools in the middle of India. His Bible school has already graduated two classes and is ready to build on their own property as God provides. Samuel also does village outreach. He is one of the key hosts to help Prasad with visiting teams.
Theo S.
Theo S. and his wife oversee a powerful training and outreach program, both in India and Burma. A graduate of the Masters Seminary and powerful expository preacher, Theo has developed a specialized training Center that is sending out grounded and gifted leaders into some very dangerous and unreached areas. One of his graduates (Enu) was killed by radicals as he was sharing and translating Scripture in remote villages. We want to see an annual “Enu scholarship”
established to help encourage future students training for church-planting ministries in these hard areas.
